Hi everyone! My name is Aaliyyah Dyani (AD). I am passionate about families, education, and protecting melanated families. Although my professional Birthworker career started in October 2020, I have supported my sisters through their pregnancies since 2014. I noticed how the lack of support impacted their pregnancies and I intentionally wanted to make my sisters’ experiences easier. I hope to do the same for you and your family!
I am a Certified Birthworker through Aboriginal Republic of North America (ARNA). Using Aboriginal knowledge and practices, I will support families from preconception to postpartum. Additionally, I have some formal training through DONA-International (Birth and Postpartum Doula) and National Black Doula Association (Fertility Doula).
Pregnancy and birth are communal efforts and I want to reintroduce that concept to melanated families. Additionally, my goal is to include fathers throughout these journeys. I empower my clients with information, so that they can make well-informed decisions!
